Health, Lifestyle, Focus, and Blogging – This is The MEGA-GOODNESS Post
I am so proud of all my online friends and colleagues for all the great things they are putting out into the world. I wanted to share a few of them with you so I’ve come up with this MEGA-GOODNESS post.
I get a lot of requests to review products, not all of which I’m willing to promote. The products in this MEGA-GOODNESS post come from people I know and I trust they will do a great job and not disappoint. I’ve only given a brief description and introduction to each of these products. If one (or all) of these products sounds interesting to you I hope you’ll click over, learn a bit more and check out their sites.
In NO particular order I present to you a few good recent finds.
Good Finds For All:
Melanie Thomassian – Healthy Eating Handbook
Melanie is a registered dietitian from Ireland. What I like about Mel is her down to earth no nonsense approach to nutrition and weight loss. She’s just released her book called the healthy eating handbook, although I think the title is very misleading. It’s WAY MORE than a handbook. Mel has sent me a copy to read over and I’m super impressed by the time and effort she’s obviously put in to it. There is the main handbook which is full of useful information on how to get started, including the basic info discussing the 5 major food groups and how to put it all into practice.
There are a TON of extras. A work book to help you keep track of everything as you go. There’s also a book of 50+healthy recipe ideas, a meal planner, a memory chart (to keep you on track while at home and out and about), menu ideas and the home exercise handbook. All together this is a really amazing resource! Visit Mel at Dietriffic for more details on the handbook.

Jessica Fisher – Organizing Life As Mom
I only recently found Jessica online and so far I like what I like what I know of her :) She’s been kind enough to give me a copy of her new book Organizing life as mom and it’s a really great resource. Jessica walks you through the various aspects of improving your life. Jessica has created Organizing Life As Mom which is a good combination of book and workbook so you have a place to write your thoughts while you’re reading through the exercises. If you’re wondering how to do it all this book is full of practical advice and tools to help you manage your life as a mom better. For $9 it’s a real bargain and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
From the website: While content rich, the 125-page book also features lots of printables and activities to get you thinking — and mobilized — to be a better, happier, more organized you.
If you’ve been thinking about an extended retreat time to think through your life and how you want to live it, this book can be the impetus for you to gain focus, put together household systems that work for you, and get your act together.

Lisa has a workbook complete with worksheets, checklists, recipes and resources to keep you going.
From the website: The Road Map to a Healthy, Happy, Meaningful Holiday Season is an online program guiding you through a detailed, flexible process which prepares you to experience the kind of holidays with your family that you most desire.
