  1. Love these ideas. Over the years I have received jewelry (which I love), flowers, balloons, cards and time. My favorite is the gift of time. Time to sleep in, time to do anything but housework, time to spend with my family.

  2. I’m totally with you on that one Marci! There’s nothing better than the gift of time. :)

  3. These are fabulous ideas. I think I’m going to save them for future Mother’s Days. This year I asked my hubby for a family bike ride. Of course that means he has to finish teaching the 6 year old how to ride his bike and get a bike trailer for the toddler. Praying he comes through. I so miss riding my bike.

  4. Hi Sherri ,
Lovely ideas.I’ve tried the poem on one birthday of my mom to give a surprise, since I believed that I can write and she loved my poem :) Mom has done a lot of thing, undergone lots of tough situations to brought us to today, and she still doing lots of things for us which we always forget to appreciate. So this is a great chance to see her that we love and we care.
    Thanks Sherri !

  5. Thank you for a wonderful post to remind us how special our Mom’s are. Even though I work a full time job. I still come by during the weekends (especially the one coming up) and help my Mom with her laundromat business, which is a lot of work.

I cannot thank enough for her patience, and instilling confidence in me which have helped me for the rest of my life.

    Thank you Mom
    :-D
