Excellent Post! There is nothing called ‘luck’ for me… I believe in working hard and getting the results. People who believe or think a lot over getting lucky just need reasons for not working hard.

Well put! We need to be ready with our goals and self determination so that we can reach our goals and meet our destination. We need to do our homework so that nothing can stop us.

This post really resounded with me. Recently a HUGE opportunity came our way due to various factors all converging at once, many driven by struggle and hard work. However along with the opportunity comes change. It is easier to stick with the status quo…..to be “safe…but “Don’t let any opportunity pass you by.”!!

I really can appreciate this article as my husband and I work very hard to afford the lifestyle we enjoy. We have a nice home, nice cars and take a lot of lovely vacations. The flip side is that we are both out of the house all day at work to afford these things. It infuriates me when family members and friends will say things like “Oh, you bought a Lexus…MUST BE NICE”…or “Oh, you’re going to Maine AGAIN…MUST BE NICE”. Yes…things things ARE nice…but it is not like they have been handed to us. We work long, hard hours and we feel we deserve to treat ourselves. But people just assume you are somehow “lucky” to have this stuff. It makes me crazy. Last year before we left for a trip, my husband’s sister said to me “Must be nice to just be able to jet away whenever you want” and I just looked at her and said “As a matter of fact, it is.” Made me feel a wee better
