Thank you for reminding us about the value and impact of having good habits.

Some habits that I would like to work on are:
- Be more patient/avoid snapping at people (especially if they didn’t have anything to do with your bad day)
- Make it a point to not have a bad day and adapt a more positive outlook on things
- Read at least one good book a month
- Spend more time catching up with family and friends
- Be more appreciative of what I have
- Stop procrastinating
- Set aside a few minutes each day to realign with myself
- Give more and help others a little every day

Well, as they say, habits are hard to break. Here’s to developing good habits that would make us live more. :-)

P.S. Add http://budurl.com/79e2 to your good habits and get to make more, live more and give more.

[...] What’s on your good habits list? - I enjoyed this post at Serene Journey. Instead of New Year’s resolutions, think about what habits you’d like to form. If you fill your life with good habits, you’ll leave no room for the bad ones. [...]

Thanks for the reminder about "focusing on the good". I was thinking about that this morning. It is interesting how we have the power to lift our moods when we focus on the good (what we are gratiful for etc) rather than the bad (what didn't go well today, yesterday...last week!)
Focusing on establishing good habits is another extension on that thinking, thank you!

Thanks for the heads up Harry I will definitely have a look.

You guys have such great lists and thank you for sharing.

A few that I would steal and add to my list are:
Act on my ideas
Stay focused
Shutting my computer down at 8 pm
Sleep more
Minimize the use of the words ’should’ and ‘have to’
Snuggle the dog

I look forward to reading your list next week Jennifer also check out Tracy's list at the enchanted cottage, she's done a great job as well.

Great idea, Sherri.

For starters I would like to:
- Look people in the eye when they speak to me.
- Quit buying potato chips
- Cook more vegetarian meals
- Let go of my instinct to want to fix or help people and just let them vent.
- Use a set amount of cash for eating out
- Drink less alcohol
- Drink more tea
- Work out a little each day
- Snuggle the dog
- Have better, less stressful morning trying to get everyone out the door.

That was way too easy. I'll start with 10.
