@ Hayden – I know right? I actually packed up my youngest sons stuff yesterday in bags and wow is it ever nice. I know I’ve packed enough stuff and shirts that go with pants etc … the baggie idea is brilliant!

@autumnesf – You’re exactly right it’s only one day in the grand scheme of things. Even if it is horrible it will end I like the sticker book and sucker idea thank you!

great information and congratulations on Zen family habit blog (I read it today only on zenhabits) I think it is really great idea, being a mom of 2 boys myself, I sure can use more zen habits for family. I am sure it will as good as Serene Journey.

I had a friend fly to Africa with her two small children this summer and what I told her was: Even if its the worst flight ever for the kids…its ONE day out of their lives. It will be ok. LOL!!

We did well with sticker books on international flights. We used suckers for take off and landings for their ears. That was a big treat for them.

I LOVE the ziplock bag idea! I will definitely save that tidbit of awesome for when we have children.

Children, more than anyone, rely greatly on their environment to do things “right”. The bags really help set the right environment to stay organized and avert disaster.
