@ Positively Present - Good! I really hope you get the book it's an inspiring read! :)

@ Wilma Ham - I am totally with you! It's not about how much you can get done or how busy you that matters...last time I checked no one was keeping score :) Living the life of your dreams certainly is a whole lot better.

@ Ann-Marie Fagan - Fantastic! It's usually all those little (sometimes big) obligations that get in the way of doing what we really want or what really brings us happiness. There is only so much time in a day that spending it where you want to and on things that will have a positive impact on your happiness is key! Thanks for your comment! :)

Living the life I want. Huum.
I’ve spent lots of time figuring out what my dreams are. I find that learning the steps to create them, to bring them into existence can be the challenging part.

Taking stock of what’s currently going on in our lives is a great place to start. When I did this exercise I found that I was spending lots of time being busy on areas that were not aligned with my dreams. However knowing how to stop doing these things was really valuable and having great support was an added bonus.
Happy Dreaming!

Living your dreams. Life definitely happened to me when I was busy, when I was too busy even to know what my dreams were.
I so agree that a 'to stop' list is the start to living a life you choose and that you can be proud of. Dreams need space and time, something that a busy, over stimulating world won't provide.
Now I am quiet I can see my dreams and miracles happen.
Being busy was for a long time a measure of success, now it becomes a measure of denial and unconsciousness.
Funny how perceptions about what is success in life can change. I must say, I like the perception that success means 'living the life of your dreams',a lot better, a whole lot better.
.-= Wilma Ham´s last blog ..<a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/WilmasBlog/~3/KVvmqirxhps/" rel="nofollow">The mind can be an over-protective parent. How very painful!</a> =-.
