Oh, it`s so true. And the second grows up SO fast because he follows in big brother`s footsteps (my kids are almost the same age difference as yours, but now 3 and 2). My little guy started crawling, walking and climbing earlier because he was copying his brother.

For me, the big slap in the face came when my oldest son moved into the big boy bed at 18 months and slept the night through like he`d been born for it. I bawled my eyes out because my baby didn`t need a crib anymore!

Genesis’s last blog post..When Saving Money is a Bad Idea

Eyebrows! That's great :) It really is amazing how quick they grow up. Like I say I find it's happening even quicker with my second son now. We are really making a point of taking everything in and spending as much time with them as possible. When it comes down to it they are our little friends that we get to spend time with for the next 20-30 years or so and then they move on and do their own thing. It seems like a whole lot of time but a year and a half has already passed with my first son and it seems like a blink of an eye. I'm glad you're aware of this as well and are cherishing every moment.

Hi, Sherri! I still remember the day my son got eyebrows. Sounds weird, I know... but he was a little baby, and nursing, and I looked down and saw real little eyebrows (not peach fuzz) and was shocked that he had "suddenly" grown! I keep having these moments when I notice he's "suddenly" not the baby he once was. It really seems to happen too fast.

I'm not a big fan of shameless blog promotion on other people's comments, but I do have two posts of mine I wanted to share with you (mom to mom,) just because I think you'd appreciate them. You can bet I don't take a single moment for granted with my little guy.

Anyway, it's these two:
